Dutch exams and assessments abroad: IVIO-Wereldschool's unique approach
IVIO-Wereldschool stands out as the only school offering distance education that prepares students for the Dutch state exams at the vmbo/tl, havo, and vwo levels.
Primary school assessments
IVIO-Wereldschool is the only school that prepares students for the state exams in vmbo-tl, havo, or vwo through distance learning.
Final assessment primary school
In the Netherlands, children usually take assessments during primary school. Your children can take these assessments remotely, including the Cito tests administered twice a year and the final assessment in Group 8. This ensures that they receive an official recommendation, allowing for a seamless transition to the appropriate level upon their return to the Netherlands.
State exams vmbo-tl, havo en vwo
If your child has completed vmbo-tl, havo or vwo abroad through IVIO-Wereldschool, they will take the exam just like all other children in the Netherlands. The state exam is an official exam and cannot be taken from home. However, all other tests that come up during the school years can be taken at home.
